I am Karoly and have problem with my new Tamron 70 300 VC.

All the pictures are so vivid and bright and overexposured. I tried many settings without help. My old Tamton 70 300 LD Macro create wonderful nice pictures and never overexposured even if I make the pictures against the sun and without lens hood. I bought the 70 300 VC in the last week.. Shall I send it back, what is your opinion? Tamron service can solve this metering issue?

All the info is appreciated. Thank you.

I had a different exposure problem with my Tamron 70-300 VC: at some f/stops it overexposed, at other f/stops it underexposed. I sent it back to Tamron and they replaced the diaphragm assembly. Now it's much better.

So my suggestion is to send the lens to Tamron.
