I updated my A65 recently with the latest available firmware 1.5.

It's clear for me that photos can be transferred faster to my PC using a faster SD card; but this is not the main focus.

I currently use a good Panasonic class 10 SD card with a - measured - read performance of 20MB/s and 13MB/s write performance.

remark: those perfomance tests were done using the card reader from my PC (and not with the camera connected to the PC. In that case the read/write perfomance was much slower).

I just ask myself if the camera would be ready quicker (after doing a quick series of photos (when the internal camera cache is written to the SD card) when using a slightly faster SD card (which is able to write with 30MB/s or more).

But for this decision one should know the maximun transfer rates that the internal SD card interface of the Sony A65 supports...

Latest firmware for the A65 (which I owned) is actually 1.07.
