Looking to purchase a lens, mostly for some night time outdoor concerts, the 135mm length should be perfect, but not sure which lense to purchase... Tak 2.5, Sears auto 2.8, Vivitar... not sure what brand would be sufficient- i have a couple concerts coming up in the next couple weeks... if i could wait for SMC-A i would, but they don't seem to come up for sale too often...

Any other brands i should look at? Other ideas for length (my FA-50mm is too short and my Sigma 70-300mm too slow)... all on a K100D

thanks in advance for replies!!

I'm still waiting to see a comparison between the new 2/135 Samyang and the old Super Takumar 2.5/135. The Samyang seems to be destroying with sharpness across the frame and complete absence of CA: http://www.diyphotography.net/samyang-135mm-f2-compared-canon-135mm-f2/

And a quick video review of the Pentax: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbO4Ap21Le0

These two seem to be the way to go.

Just my two cents.
