Not quite. Open Live View and you do get a depth-of-field preview right there, but change the aperture and that Live View depth-of-field preview won't change - until you take another exposure or turn live view off and then on again.

So for "semi-continuous" depth-of-field previews you must change the aperture, then either take a test shot or switch Live View off and then back on again, to see the new depth-of-field preview in the LCD.
