Four Third w/2.0 Aperture lens

Hi all.  I have a question in regards to low light shooting.  I've read all the reviews on Fuji XE-2 and Olympus EM-5.  Both seem to be great cameras.  My concern is with low light photos.  I understand that XE-2 comes with a better sensor, thus allowing for better low light??  However, how does the lens affect low light shooting?  In other words, would a Four Third sensor with a higher aperture be as good in low light photo as a camera that comes with a better sensor?  Thank you.
