Question RE Nikon TC14E-III Description

A snippet from the Nikon USA marketing description of the newly-released Nikon TC14E-III says in part, "... Optimized for sports, action, wildlife and press photographers ..."

So what does that mean specifically? I have used Nikon TCs for years and have a TC14E-II at present. I know how to use them and know their limitations, etc. But the statement above intrigues me. I know about the fluoride coating. How does a fluoride coating 'optimize' ... if that's what they're referring to? I'd consider buying it if there's a meaningful optical improvement? Otherwise, I'll save the $500.
