What is wiser? Nikon lens with adapter or native E-mount lens?

I can't make my mind up. I have A6000 with the kit lens. It serves me very well. I am currently after a macro lens and a portrait lens.

I have a Nikon 60mm macro 2.8 lens which works as a decent portrait lens too. I got it for $800 many many years ago....now brand new it sells for $3-400 I think.

Should I just get an adapter and use it as portrait and macro lens combo or sell it and get native E-mount lenses like the SEL 50mm 1.8?

Sale of Nikon lens could cover majority of SEL 50mm price but then I don't have a macro lens. I am also wary of getting too entrenched in Sony lenses in case I decide to go in a different direction (if and when more mirror less options appear from Nikon etc).

What would you do?

Sony a6000
