Lens distortion correction takes no extra time in most cases

Enable the lens profiles in Lightroom and save the settings as your default. Takes 10 seconds, just once. Every time you open an image made with a supported combination of lens and body (it's a huge list) the distortion will be automatically corrected.

DxO Optics Pro is similarly convenient. Ptlens: same story, I hear.
