I live six miles from the epicenter of yesterday's quake. And when it hit, my DA*300 was mounted on my K-3 and the pair was sitting on a small shelf about six inches from a drop onto a cement-slab floor. But they stayed on the shelf.
In fact, not a single piece of glass in the house broke, even though a picture slid down the wall right behind my head, and two decorative bottles which were up at head height ended up in the middle of the living room floor.
