A7r vs A6000 for high ISO

I've been reading about how pixel size/density on the sensor will affect higher ISO photography and DR.  Basically, the larger the pixels the better DR and less noise you will get at higher ISOs.

My a6000 I try to stick to less than ISO 200.  Even ISO 200 has some noticeable electronic noise in the photo.  One advantage many advocates say about full frame cameras is that they perform better with less noise at higher ISOs because of the bigger pixels on the sensor.

This seems like a false argument to me.  When I look at the a7r vs a6000, the a7r has 1.5 the amount of pixels and the sensor is about 1.6x bigger.  Almost the same, which means pixel size/density is almost the same.

Thoughts?
