A photographer has copyright over his or her photos, meaning nobody can use them without permission. Copyright is the power to control how other people use your photos.

Why do some libertarians and classical liberals are against copyright even though Ayn Rand was in support of copyright?

However, Ayn Rand was also against the idea of perpetual copyright and she held that it should be granted for a limited time period only, even though in history some people have claimed that copyright should be forever: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perpetual_copyright

What do you think about Ayn Rand's support of copyright but disapproval of perpetual copyright?

What do you think about some libertarians and classical liberals' disapproval of copyright in general?

Why do you think Ayn Rand and some libertarians held or hold such views?
