Sorry guys, I know this has been asked several dozen times, but I can't search past threads on my mobile and I figured this was the best place to get accurate info.

So, my question is, can you use a DT lens like the 16-105 on a 35mm camera? I know it will likely vignette, but I know some cameras can damage a DT lens, or both. Is that just the full frame alphas? Or does that include cameras like the Maxxum 7, 7xi and 7000?

Thanks for taking the time to help.
Having is not so pleasing a thing as wanting, it may not be logical but it is often true. ~Mr. Spock, Star Trek

DT = APS-C lens, thus it will vignette on SLR but if you have an A99/A900/A850 you have dual format, so not an issue with those.
