35mm Tilted 8 degrees
Aug 18, 2014

Over a year ago someone on this forum made a PK-NEX tilt adapter into a PK-PK tilting extension tube by combining some pieces. I have taken and done the same thing, then i stuck my FA 35mm F2.0 on the adapter and it gives me just a pinch more than 1:1 when set at infinity. I use the 35mm as the tilt has a stronger affect on a wider angle lens, however the working distance is 2cm or less making macros a little harder. I've used this tilt adapter on my Pentax-F 100mm F2.8 and it seems fine, but on the 77mm Ltd it does not perform well at all tilted 8 degrees.

So these are my first test photos with this rig, the aperture set to F8 which doesn't make it easy to clearly identify focus and I used a flash with diffuser. These are by no means my best, just my first attempt.
