You lose flexibility having to shoot with such long lenses. Sometimes you can't back up that far, sometimes directing the subject while standing so far away becomes awkward and unnatural. It is the price we pay for this format really. If you want lots of blur/bokeh, you need to use a long lens. This does come with its own limitations.
