Mirrorless and DSLR, A simple question from a Virgin

Dear member,

the time to buy a camera has finally arrived and I'm not ready yet !!!

just yesterday I have spent loads of time making comparison between the Oly the Fujy Xt1(I wasn't aware of their potential) and the Nikon 7100, now the situation its very complicate

I'm guessing there is no best camera, it's all about what you want to achieve, here my thoughts :

I' ll start shooting urban landscape, street and people. Having a smaller and lighter camera it's all I need, thumb up for Mirrorless.

As "young and full of enthusiasm" photographer I don't really mind about the extra weight, what I really want is to manage properly the camera absorb concept like exposure Iso etc etc. Practise a lot and basically learn, that's probably my priority over get "a nice" picture

My question is :

To learn and master "the art of photography" for a totally beginner it's more appropriate a DSLR o

mirrorless camera I'm not looking for the easiest and fastest way to get a "great shoot"

Cheers guys !!!

Dave
