X-T1 & XF 18-135: trying again!
Aug 6, 2014

Just received my XF 18-135mm zoom today from Amazon and took a few test shots. Coming from a Pentax background and the DA 18-135mm, I must say that I'm impressed with the IQ delivered by the Fuji. Edge and corner sharpness are definitely better with the XF 18-135. I haven't done a side by side comparison yet but here are a few of my first shots at various focal lengths. These are OOC JPEGS which have been resized for the web and I adjusted levels on several of them. The close focusing ability of this lens is great!

And BTW, this lens does well on distant subjects as well. I sharpened this a bit as well as adjusted levels. Edge to edge sharpness and no PF!  Focus point was the flag.
