Strange continuous buzzing vibration after I switched on my a7
Aug 4, 2014

Hi guys. One quick question.
I just encountered problem with my sony a7 with 35mm f/2.8
I was walking down the street and saw something interesting so I switched on the camera in my hand.
But as soon as I switched it on I felt a continuous vibration coming from my lens. It makes a loud buzzing noise not unlike my phone in vibration mode. Panicked I quickly switched it off, which stopped the vibration.
The problem hasn't occur since (but that happened about 14 minutes ago so who knows).
I was wondering if anyone has an idea about what could be responsible for this, and give advice on whether if I should take it back to the shop?

I had the camera for about 2 months. I only have the 35mm prime, which stays on it the whole time. Although I use them everyday and carry them almost everywhere with me, both the camera and the lens are in like-new conditions. So I don't know what I could have done to cause damages to them - if that's what happened.
