Get FF DOF with a converter

I decided to experiment a little and mounted my DA50-135mm on an old, 7-element teleplus 2X converter. Fully aware of the light-loss of 2 stops as well as the need to focus manually I upped the ISO on my K5-IIs. The results were quite surprising in terms of DOF - smooth and wafer-thin. Not for everyday use, I admit but certainly an option which has its uses.
