I decided to give the inexpensive Rokinon 85mm F1.4 for MFT lens a shot. I love manual lenses…

I certainly appreciate the desire for autofocus.  This is really a specific lens, probably best for "creamy" portraits and lower light scenes where longer FL is needed, for example an evening affair or concert/ club.  Those are wide open situations, I believe even autofocus would not be so straightforward due to the small DOF.  Manual focus can also be important for movies.

I will be using it to capture video at an upcoming play indoors where lighting will be weak - tripod, focus, record - hope for the best!
