As a Wedding Pro of 28+ years I can tell you have never taken a wedding. The photographer is the one that micro manages the wedding, sure he has to create a record but normally it's much more than that.

A real pro will orchestrate everything except the actual ceremony, after all 20+ years later the wedding will be a distant memory the photographs will bring back.

The art is not just in the posing but in the time taken to achieve great results and the skill involved is way harder than most people would credit.

Yes it can be art and their is certainly an art to it!
