Cheap Fresnel Lights -

I have been seeming on ebay some rather interesting fresnel lights from from China.

My interest is for small indie film. I think I only need one, as I have some LEDs (312 3400/5600K softbox style,240x2 3400/5600K with barndoors). So my temperature needs would obviously be 3400 and 5600K. I like the idea of a dimmer. I am not looking for 1000W, as my sets are small. My porch light at 100W is too bright, so I am thinking even if its set to spot that 300W would be more than enough.

I guess one question I have is, is there a standard universal dimmer that can be used as an add on (meaning not a custom light model/make specific one) 10-100%.???

The price ranges Ive seen for one vary from 100 USD to 250USD. One even claims to be dichroic. Does that matter for a fresnel, I thought the rippled glass and gel filter is what matters???

Last question has anyone had good experiences with China cheap fresnel lights for video?
