Help! TZ40 – is this image quality acceptable?

Help please! Is the quality of these images typical/acceptable for the Panasonic TZ40? I know it isn’t supposed to be great for high ISO work, but these were taken today in a fairly well lit shop at ISO 160, 200 and 400 and the detail looks pretty bad to me. Are my expectations unreasonable, or is this particular camera not performing as it should? The camera image quality settings were on maximum.
