Rokinon 650-1300 ????
I never knew this thing existed, but just saw it perusing ebay. Searching this forum yielded no results, but B&H and others have it:
The reviews at B&H and other places seem reasonably positive. For $240 it may be in the "what the heck" range.
I'm just wondering how sharp it will be. I mainly want a supertele for close-up moon shots and maybe occasional wildlife in bright daylight. (I realize for that I'll need a tripod, daylight, and high ISO.) I don't care about MF or slow aperture. As much as I'd love a Canon big white, I'd have to save for years for it and I don't think I'd use it enough to justify that.
Would be great if still sharp with a Canon 2X TC III on a 60D, but that may be wishful thinking.
Has anyone here used it? Thoughts?
If it's a *Single* Lens Reflex, why do I need so many lenses?
