True. I personally don't use spot metering.

You can thru adapter such as use FD lenses.

no flash ( small, low power...sometimes its necessary and we don´t have any speedlite near)

Get 270EX II that is pretty small and light but much powerful than built-in flash.

in auto iso, aperture mode...sometimes is usefull when i want to control the aperture but need fast shutterspeeds...

spot meter linked to focus point is very usefull

you get all this with 1 series Canon .

the built-in flash is enough (when travel light)...use 800 iso, no noise.
