Olympus' "Zilker Garden Walk Day" -- a fun time!
5

This past Saturday here in Austin, Precision Camera teamed up with Olympus America to sponsor a free Olympus shooting day at Zilker Botanical Gardens.

Olympus reps and Precision staff were on hand with 'loaner' cameras and lenses. I'm not sure how many folks showed up, but it seemed like quite a few, as the gardens were awash with people shooting with Olympus gear.

I brought my E-M1 and a few lenses and had an absolute 'banner day' in terms of great subject material. I brought my 12-40mm, ZD 50mm macro, m9-18mm, 75-300mm, and Bower 7.5mm fisheye.

The funny thing is I almost left my 75-300mm at home and ended up shooting most everything with that excellent lens.

Here are just a few examples of images captured.
