Quick question on Lightroom and Fuji B&W Photos
Jul 21, 2014

Generally I shoot RAW + Fine Jpeg because, well, habit.  I used to shoot weddings and if the color balance was off or a client decided they wanted a large-ish print from a crop I wanted access to the RAW.

Now I'm shooting with an X-Pro-1, and I've been reasonably happy with the B&W film simulations offered by the camera.  But on import the setting is overridden by Lightroom to be the default RAW.

Is there a simple way around this?  As far as I know (and I've not paid close attention to Lightroom features for a few versions) I can choose "treat RAW and JPEG separately" or I can shoot JPEG only, which I'd prefer not to do.

Is there a way to tell Lightroom to ignore the color data on imported files that were running a B&W simulation?
