And that's what I really like about my 5D2, 1D IV etc., and which still bothers me when I use my 7D with its LCD enabled viewfinder. I'm surprised that my now more limited photography misses this feature so much. (If only it could be customised...)

Well, here's a workaround that I've found works fairly well . . .
