EM-1 : Shooting jpegs, am I mad?

I know all serious photographers shoot RAW and I have therefore tried processing some RAW shots in a variety of software products: Aperture (which is my normal software) and DXO, Lightroom, Capture One (trial versions).

But even after extensive fiddling about in these programs, honestly I cannot seem to produce output that is dramatically better than the Olympus in-camera jpegs.  Slightly better?  Yes, perhaps. Only perhaps.  Certainly not WOW oh my God better.  Marginally better at best, I would say.  I had one test shot where the detail visible in the Olympus jpeg is clearly greater than the DXO processed RAW file, once DXO has done comparable levels of noise reduction!  It's subtle, but the Oly jpeg is better.

Historically, I used to shoot RAW because it was easier to fix white balance and chromatic aberration.  But now WB is easily adjusted even in jpegs.  CA is a none-issue.  The in-camera jpegs look just great.

Is it crazy to shoot just jpeg?  And if so, why?
