Annoyed with Canon RCC
I used Canon RCC in the UK a number of times and found them very good. My Canon 580 EX was playing up.. Before I sent it I checked the CPS web site and it is supported. I called customer support and it's supported.
I sent the flash to RCC and I get an email that this flash is no longer supported due to lack of spares and they are sending it back.
I call and I speak to a lady who sounds very formal telling me the rules and it's my problem not theirs. She suggest to contact another authorised repair center. I tell her why can't she do that and send the flash. They did that to me when I sent the MKIII for the mirror box assy re-call.
She's not interested....
I'll have to contact the CPS rep and complain
