** Mini-Challenge #432 - Winners **
*** Winners of the Mini-Challenge - Celebration of Art ***
This has been another one of those mini challenges that was very difficult to judge. Any number of photos could be first place but I'm not allowed to pick more than one first. So here goes:
Honorable mentions - in no particular order
Zenfer - Street art:
Always a fascinating and colorful subject.
Jim B - Native American art:
A lovely, colorful photo, depicting an important (and often controversial) part of U.S. history.
JWIS206 - Museum of Modern Art:
The color, lighting and the subject in shadow, all make for a lovely image.
And the winners are:
Ken G - art and artist
Very lovely contrast and lighting.
Tied for Second place:
Charles Fischer - lute player
Simply a lovely photo, subtle and well-composed:
Dames01 - JR exhibition
A very fascinating image; you just don't look at it, it causes you to contemplate.
sueanne - National Portrait Museum:
This photo really captures the Celebration of Art, with her son drawn into the the artwork by trying to pose the same way as the sculpture.
Congratulations to all. Sue Anne, the torch passes to you to lead the next mini.
