In a thread that is now full, sportyaccordy asked me to please elaborate on how I can claim that some lenses are better on a Sony A7/r/s than on the original cameras that they were designed for.
Easy. I'll use the example of the Canon 17mm and 24mm TS-E lenses, which cover more than half of my landscape needs.

What adapter do you use for these?

I would also like to see recommendations for adapters, especially an adapter that can be used to mount Canon EF lenses that enables AF and IS. Thanks.

I use both the Metabones 3 and 4, but the 4 has more room for TS-E magic.  I like getting accurate Exif information.

There was a lot of discussion on this last month, for example, in this thread:

My Metabones 3 is flocked as described on Fred's site, of course.

Thanks, that should be perfect for my needs. I just read about it myself on The Phoblographer http://www.thephoblographer.com/2014/07/14/metabones-adds-sony-a7-support-new-canon-ef-sony-e-mount-adapter/#.U8Q8Khn6jqA
I wonder if I could also use my EF-S lenses with that in crop mode?
