If you are only interested in IQ and price (and not weight as this topic is about), you should not compare anything against the most expensive and bulkiest µ4/3 camera Olympus has to offer. Why not compare to E-PM2, that was recently discounted for $250 including with the "pretty decent" kit lens. The IQ should roughly similar as in E-M1.

I was just responding to "truth vs brand fans" where a big deal was made about the E-M1. The E-M1 was the poster child of the great M43 camera as pointed out by one of the M43's biggest fans. Apparently the E-M1 isn't as good a representation of M43 as it was made out to be.
