Noise comparison Sony Sensor vs. Sony Sensor+SLT
2

Just for the records - of course we know since long that the SLT takes away some light / adds noise, but since I have 2 Sony APS-C cameras, one e-mount, one a-mount, with identical sensors, I just gave it a try to compare. The result is as expected: The A58 shows more noise than the A3000 in compareable conditions - but not drasticly more. (RAW without treatment, just exported to JPEG in LR).

Still, I hope one day we will see an a-mount Sony without SLT - my prime a-mount lenses would shine in low light.
