flash and raw files
i've been getting more into to flash photography and am noticing that when a look at raw files shot without a flash, the images are pretty flat and don't have much sat. or contrast compared to what an edited file looks like or what an in camera jpg might look like if you use one of the picture profiles. when i shoot raw with a flash, the image looks a whole lot like the preview jpg you get on the back of the screen even though the image was shot raw.
what's going on? is this normal? not sure why i never really noticed this before. i stopped using flash for a long time, but really notice it now.
