I think that only goes so far along that line. As for whether it's a shot you actually want to keep, that's another story. Either way, while i was on a speed walk with the Mrs. on a nice steep hiking trail, in 92 degree humid weather mind you, we happened apon a doe. While i didn't bring even my light and fluffy GX7 with as this trek was for exercise, i did have my trusty smart phone, a Samsung Note 3.

I would agree the camera you have with you is the best one, if you need to ID a bank heist suspect. For anything you might want to actually look at, i will stick to a dedicated camera.

She wasn't more than 10 or 20 yards away, but it still didn't offer much detail. Owell, at least im not really into shooting wildlife, no harm done.
