A 70-200mm F/2.8, or an 85mm F/1.8 & a Macro?
Jul 3, 2014

So I have a decision to make. Before I explain, here is what I shoot.

For getting Paid, I shoot:

- Event Photography

-Portrait Photography

For Fun, and Passion, I shoot:

-Street Photography

Now let me explain. Im not sure what option is best:

1:Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 VC

2: Nikon 85mm F/1.8G + Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro

3: Nikon 85mm F/1.8G + Tokina 11-16

Now, I do Portraiture morethan I do weddings and events, but I still shoot events. Now, besides that I LOVE to shoot macro and landscape. I'm just thinking. Do I NEED a 70-200 For weddings? or can an 85 sub for that, so I can also get a ultra wide or possibly a macro?

or do I NEED a 70-200 for weddings, and I should throw out the macro?

or ultra wide and use an 85mm for portraits, weddings, and events instead and throw in a macro or a ultra wide that i can use for events too??
