RX100-III as a replacement for Canon 60d...mostly landscape/cityscape shooter
4 weeks ago

Hi there,

I currently own a Canon 60d as my main camera. I mostly shoot landscapes and cityscapes. The occasional social portrait with friends happens on occasion, too. I love the camera but I do a lot of traveling and I have grown tired of lugging the camera around. In fact, I find that I use it much less because of this fact.

I think that the RX100-III would suit me well for my style of shooting and as they say the best camera is the one you have with you. I think I would carry it with me far more often than the heavy 60d.

However, money is tight and to afford the Sony I would probably sell the 60d. Do you think that the Sony could replace the 60d for most of the situations I might encounter? What limitations might it have as a travel/landscape camera?

Nick
