Turn off CM in Canon driver for profiling target prints?
Jul 2, 2014

Guys, your help please. I've just bought the SpyderPRINT and am about to print my first set of profiling targets and had thought that on MAC OSX10.9+ there was an issue turning off colour management and ColorSync etc and using something like ACPO to ensure neutral targets. Below is a pic of the printer dialogue and instead of the greyed out radio buttons I seem to have the full driver colour management features enabled! So does that mean I can go ahead and print through the SpyderPrint software?

Incidentally I ended up with SpyderPRINT rather than Colormunki because after doing a lot of research it seems that the Spyder, while being much more technique sensitive and so a little less user friendly, once learnt should on paper at least give a better analysis and ultimately better profiles! I know many will disagree but that's my opinion - in case anyone is doing the same research!!
