Machine gun Macro technique w/ V3
2

Hello from Honduras... today I decided to shoot machine gun style. As you know, macro has very shallow deph of field, and if you insect is moving, plus the wind, it is a hit or miss situation. The machine gun technique I call is keeping the shutter pressed and moving the camera in and out and with the high frames per second and the buffer the V3 has, it allows me to get a few shots in focus, the rest I throw away.

Photos shot with V3 and 105mm VR macro and FT1 adapter., handheld. All the subject are very very small insects.
