Hi, here's my thoughts.

  1. To compare the sensors on a level playing field you may wish to compare them with equal photometric exposure. In other words, compare them when they are both recording the same image. To do this, if you shot the FF at 1/50s f/4, you'd shoot the APS-C at 1/50s f/2.5-ish. The ISO would differ here.
  2. Having said this, for these two cameras it shouldn't matter. Looking at the noise curves in DXO, the curves are on top of each other, so I'd expect the A6000 to have the same noise as the A850 even when both were shot using the same exposure parameters (shutter speed, f-stop, ISO).
  3. I believe Adobe applies noise reduction to RAW images, even when you have no noise reduction explicitly applied. The amount differs from camera to camera.
