Crispiness and too much detail in Real Estate Photos

I'm well aware of the difference between using HDR and Flash for Real Estate photography so I'm not looking for a debate on this. I use both but generally for my quick jobs where price is important for the client I will stick with HDR. Having said that...

A problem that I find is that I am getting great definition, but perhaps way too much definition.

My question tends to be around the bedding. I ensure all the bedding and sheets are smooth, nice and ready to go.

However HDR gives so much detail I find that even the slightest wrinkles or lumps are greatly exaggerated by the HDR process.

Any thoughts or ideas how to overcome this using HDR?

Has anyone else experienced too much detail in using this technique?

Thanks in advance.
