England lacks so much quality...Just do not belong on a WC.

It was a fairly clean game and, once more, the pure speed of the South Americans made the difference.

England lacked any real invention and spark near the box, and some of the passing was abysmal, they look flat footed and were just one step behind all the time, i won't mention the defence......

How come we Dutch tend to always have some players with great technical skils and why are people, like that young Jamaican guy, typically english? Good intentions, very fast but simply not capable of controlling the ball in a professional way. It is typically English. Just not enough skills.

England has decent players - but no great "word class" players.

Nobody on the England side is fantastic.

And, it's always been that way...ever since the likes of Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore and company.

Even Beckham never performed very well for England on the big stage...and neither did Gasgoine...who both were word class on their day

David Beckham could not get passed one player once in his life. Gascoigne (!) was a very nice, explosive player. He was fantastic.

England just don't have those individual great players who can win games almost by themselves...like Suarez, etc.

True.

After this pizz-poor performance....England have to seriously look at how their WC squads are structured and whether (or not) they truly want to make it a national priority, etc.

I think it is not in their favour tha all the great team have mostly foreign players in them and few English are good enough to do well abroad.

France setup a facility to train their very young players professionally which lead them to the WC in 1998. Somethign like that is needed in England.
