At this point, I think my setup is between 3.5 and 7 lbs depending on what lens is on the camera.
T4i w/Grip and either STM 18-135, or Tamron 200-500, with the other one ALWAYS in my back pack.

I'm fine with it. I've hiked 10 miles with the STM, but I haven't hiked with the Tamron yet, and I plan on getting a holster for longer hikes. I'm really not bothered by the weight of my setup, so long as I'm comfortable with lugging it around... I mean, a weekend hiking trip could be 40-50lbs in a backpack anyway. what's 3-7 more lbs attached to my hip?

So long as I'm in decent shape (I'm not) when I am.... it won't be too much of a strain
