Opinions? New lens or new camera?

Hello, I'd like to see what different people think:

I have an important shoot coming up in mid- September--a huge dog agility tournament--over 300 participants--and it will be inside. I'd like NOT to use a flash, seeing as I will be needing to get some fast moving shots. So, here's my question: I have a Nikon d800. The fastest glass I have is my 50mm VR 2.8--not suitable for this type of event, and a Tamron 28-75 1:2.8 which is NOT VC, and I'm thinking would cause some blur without a flash.  I also have my Nikon 24-120 1:4 VR which I love and keep on my D800 just about all the time. I'm afraid it may not be fast enough if I'm shooting inside without a flash.

So, here's what I was thinking--I have about $1200 or so I can spend--so, should I get a Tamron 70-200 2.8 VC lens or the same in Sigma, which I read I are both nice, fast lenses,  or should I get the new Nikon 1 v3 system which takes 20 shots per second!! and is touted as great for sports..and has fast AF, etc. ..(I've been looking at this camera as a companion to my d800 anyway). The v1 is not available yet and I'm hoping it WILL be by at least August so I can have some time to get to know it well before the shoot.

So, what do you think???
