A couple of legacy Minolta zooms meet the A7....

I picked up a 70-210mm f4.5-5.6 a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty good, but I wanted to try a bit longer lens, so I found a 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 in excellent shape, and gave it a whirl. The first batch of shots were terrible, so I thought I had gotten a dud. However, when I went out today, and shot in good light, I was very pleased with the output. The lens is definitely happier stopped down a bit, and, like all longer zooms, it needs faster shutter speeds if you are not using a monopod or tripod. So, once I remembered all of that, I got some decent test shots of some young birds at the local marsh.

Now to take it out and give it a real workout!
