Enterprize 1829 to 1847.

The Tall Ship Enterprize replica of a trading boat carrying live stock and coal, that mainly worked the sea route from Tasmania to the Australian South East Coast. Enterprize came to grief ground on a sand bar on the Richmond river in Nth New South Wales in 1847.

I have posted photos before of this vessel at anchor an example appears below. This is the first time I have been able to photograph Enterprize under sail, taking tourists from the pier in Port Arlington, situated on the western side of Port Philip Bay. In one photo you can easily see the Melbourne city skyline across the water to the east

.

Cheers,

John
