20MP would be a lot better than 12MP too.

Well, my ideal superzoom camera would have about 8-MP, on the same size sensor, with all the advanced technology that makes it possible to have 20-MP. Then, we could have many of the advantages of the larger pixels of a mid-sized sensor and a long zoom reach as well.
