Help with Insect Photography

For our Art class, we have been assigned a camera and our task was to take a photo of anything in our school and make it look good. I had chosen a rather close-up photo of a dragonfly, which looked decent enough for me. I then attempted to Photoshop it using random tutorials I have found on the internet.

The result looked fine, but I was wondering if I could make it any better, and decided to come here for some help.

This is only a school project which constitutes to only a small part of our final grade, so it doesn't necessarily need to look the best. However, I would still like to make it as good as possible.

Thank you.
