No I do not want a DSLR.

APS-C and DSLR are not the same thing, though. There are quite a few mirrorless system cameras with APS-C sensors available already.

I am beyond that. No DSLR shoots video like GH4, no DSLR has lenses the size of the GH4 etcetc. DSLRs would be interesting if BIF was the main thing I did. I want to be able to that. With the GH4 it is tricky...

I've found FT lenses to be bigger and heavier than equivalent Pentax ones. mFT seem to have smaller apertures.

I wouldn't expect that FZ1000 to be better at BIF than the GH4, but I'm sure we'll see some test results fairly soon. Not on this site, though. Their AF opinions seems to be just that, no solid test methodology "needed".
