Viewfinder issues on my D600

I just got a used D600, and it's doing something I've never seen before.

First, the AF points aren't showing at all. I've tried every AF setting and nothing gets the AF points to show up.

Second, the viewfinder is very dark. In the house with the lights on, I'd say it's a good stop or two darker than it should be.

Third, the viewfinder is blurry. When I try to adjust the diopter, the blur changes, but it never gets anywhere near correct. The meter LED in the viewfinder is perfectly clear as I have it dialed in currently, but the actual viewfinder is a blurry mess.

The photos it's taking are tack sharp, and Live View works as it should. I'm thinking there's a mechanical problem here. It looks like this has been a pretty common problem, but in all the threads and googling, I haven't found anyone who definitively identified/solved it.
